November 30, 2013 – It’s a beautiful Saturday morning in Taguig City as we gather together and run for a cause! Race for Life has been a part of my calendar since they started last 2008, this is the 6th year they’ve been doing this and my second year to host the event. And every year thousands and thousands of people are joining. Last year we had 6000++ runners, this year we have 8000++ !!! A+mazing!
This year , there are 3 categories, 3K (with buddy) 5k (with buddy) and 10km Solo. With their tagline “Be a buddy, help SomeBuddy”, all proceeds will go to Real Life Foundation, a foundation who helps unfortunate kids to go to school and empower their dreams.
I really enjoyed this race; it’s as if you are just running with your family, an extended family! From Moms and daughters, dads and sons, couples, friends, a kid with a dog, you cannot help but notice how Race for Life puts back the fun in running.
Here are some photos that I grabbed from their Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/Reallifefoundation)
